the wga said it returns to the bargaining table ready to make a fair deal, but it's still uncertain ifs will lead to a resolution. the last time we talked, it wasn't really anything good. so i'm being realistic, but also hopeful that they'll come with a fair deal for us. key issues for the union include the use of artificial intelligence and residuals related to streaming. today, sag-aftra union members held a rally in support of the striking hollywood actors. members rallied at the alameda county labor council offices in oakland, sag-aftra actors have been on strike since july, shutting down tv and film productions, performers and studios have not come to an agreement on working conditions, pay and the future use of artificial intelligence in projects. oakland city council member nikki fortunato bass was among those today showing their support for the actors. we know that artificial intelligence is not going to replace human workers because that is not fair. those are the issues that you are all are fighting for and those are the issues that i am here to say oakland is with you 100. y
