right now, you can see the wheelchairs are lining up, now the wheelchair athletes and the hand cycles. the elite are lined up behind them, behind them, a sea of thousands of runners who participate in this half and full marathon. runners head toward city hall. they run 6 miles in center city and then they run out on mlk anne kelly drive through manayunk. like we mentioned before, many have been wondering about security given the recent violence overseas. in a statement released last week, the race director said organizers received a number of questions from runners about the security measures after the terror attacks in paris. she said expensive plans were put in place after the boston marathon bombings in 2013. even more recautions are taken this weekend on top of that, they have not been talking about the details of those precautions just for security reasons. anyone have to be screened. officials are encouraging people not to bring bags, especially spectators if they do, they will be searched. runners had to use clear bags for security reasons. we found many runners interesting the
