in the fourth floor of wheeler hall. jana katsuyama is live on the scene now with more of what's going on and where police are moving in, jana -- >> reporter: just in the past five or ten minutes things have changed dramatically. i'm going to step out of the way. those police officers we had shown you early in the hour, those emeryville police officers have moved in just to block part of wheeler hall. you can see all of the students have been moved over on to one side of the steps, they have been quardened off to a certain location. and thins have been heating up here -- and things have been heating up here. you can see there's police officers who are lining the whole way basically blocking the people from going any further along the steps. now, again this has been going on since about 2:00 earlier in the day. we understand that they were waiting to see if they could get a meeting with the chancellor about this. we don't know if they have gotten that response yet. that was supposed to come at about 6:10, 6:15. but things
