this is whipple road.ey are doing is as the cars go by they are waving their on strike signs. whipple road is a busy road. they will have a big audience this morning. the worker says the last shift here was 9:30 saturday night. the first shift today workers are supposed to start to arrive at 6:30. so far according to the union no workers have crossed the picket lines. there is about 178 unionized organizers. the strike is over health care benefits. right now the company pays into into a union trust fund. that pays for the union workers health care benefits. the company wants to stop paying into that trust fund and have the workers go on their own health care insurance. that will require the unions pay a deductible one union representative said is worth thousands of dollars. what does that mean to the workers? one worker said the plan being offered by the company now means that if they took that plan, her son would be without health care. >> my son is a student and on the plan he has right now he's covered.
