i wonder what you thought of what chris whitaker said when he said he would be surprised about the situationthis properly? well, he has all the information and is a very good judge of where we are on the pandemic. and i would concur with what he says. to control the disease in full, we are going to need an effective vaccination programme, and we have had much discussion about whether or not we are going to get an effective vaccine. even if we get an effective vaccine, how do we make sure we immunise the appropriate people in the community? or does everybody have universal immunisation? all of those things have to be worked out and the months are passing. so it is likely we will continue to get spikes of the disease and it is likely we will need to keep reinforcing the message about hand hygiene, reinforcing the message about isolation, reinforcing the message about being careful, you know, to think notjust of yourself, but to think of others, of why we need to contain the spread of the disease. i would concur with ms whitty. if you look across the world, the numbers are going up and it may b
