jonathan pliska, you've worked with the white house historical association to write a young readers book about the white house easter e roll. before we get into hto, tell me about it today. how large is it in 2018? well, it's it would be a lot larger than it actually is, except the popularity is so high and everybody wants to be a part of this that they generally cap the attendance at about 30 to 35000 people. and where is it held today? it's held on thsouth grounds. earlier, the south lawn of the white house. so that's the what i like to call the president's backyard. and are the eggs real eggs? the eggs are sometimes real eggs. they also use these wooden eggs. we have some right here. yeah, they're collectibles. yes, definitely. but there are traditionally some real eggs used. and in the past, it was all real eggs. and who gets to go? well, anybody can go. but you need to submit your request online in advance. and then a lucky lottery winners get to go and the other thing is, you need to have a small child with you. otherwise, it's you know, it really is an event for the kids and other

presented one to the white house curator and one to the white house historical association and they have found information in loose research that they've found no other place. and and i would also add to that that in one of the issues of white house historical quarterly. i believe in the 2016 year year there is an insert. of a porsche. i don't think it's all of it, but there's a portion of it in. and i think are our former education specialist elizabeth dental. um did extensive research and she's and some volunteers that she recruited are responsible for digitizing it? but if you get a copy of that issue, it's got about the her first 135 pages reproduced. of the original so you can get a flavor of what her research was like thank you, tom. do you know what impact or involvement? lou henry hoover had in terms of the architectural work on the house in palo alto so the question is what impacted lou have on the architectural work of the house in palo alto. she pretty pretty much designed the house. and she worked with the architect burge clark in the construction of the house. there is an ex

white house is getting ready to debut. these new bunny costumes people probably remember seeing these buddies from past easter egg rolls here at the white house and the white house historical associationhich is privately funded, is now providing a revamped for these bunny costumes, the white house releasing us some video over the weekend of them hopping around over on the south lawn where this easter egg roll will take place. now, these bunnies often have pretty prime spot and can meows over the years at these easter egg rolls, they're often seen with the president and the first lady on one of the balconies at the white house staffers wolf where those bunny mascot outfits, including white, former white house press secretary sean spicer. he was actually a bunny back during the george w. bush administration when he was a staffer, and i was texting with a former bunny because apparently, some of these monies have phones and they told me they were happy to see that they're getting a bit more of a modern refresh. this easter egg roll. now, the white house is expecting to welcome about 30,000 people over the course of the day tomorrow here at the white house, many of them military and veter
