i'm responsible for our wildfire safety program. i want to talk a little bit about the upcoming event to pick up where scott left off in regards to the meteorological forecast. so given the forecast that scott shared and the historical nature of what can be anticipated, we are preparing for what is likely go being going to be a widespread safety shutoff across our service territory to combat the risk of a catastrophic wildfire. we have not made the final determination yet to move forward. we expect to make that decision at 8:00 a.m. tomorrow, which is saturday. and if we do call a public safety power shutoff, that decision will be made in consultation with our state agency partners that are here with us in our operation center, and they include the state emergency operation center. the california public utility commission and the cal fire. so if we do anticipate the forecast as scott shared, as well as what the national weather services has published, we anticipate that this shutoff could impact approximately 850,000 of our 5 millio
