conservation. so we decided to dive into that world by purchasing a small property and documenting both what you can do on a property like that to improve it for wildlife of all sorts while also trying to balance it out that out with recreational use like hunting. one of the challenges of balancing that kind of thing is trying to do all sorts of activities. so one of the things we often joke about is try to create deer hunting property and other people who want to shoot squirrels. we do squirrel hunt. we have an episode of it on the show this year. we ended up not seeing a single gray fox squirrel on the property. so got an e-mail the other day specifically saying, mark what about planting a cornfield just for the schools next year. can we do that. so the squirrel hunt didn't go very well but we did go to public land and had success there. conservation voters, nrdc, environment america blue-green alliance, utility workers. i also want to thank the organizations who joined me yesterday in unveiling this legislation, including the united steel workers, sierra club, national wildlife federation. to say the least it's disappointing that president trump has decided to abandon the tremendous economic opportunity to create millions of additional clean energy jobs. there are already three million, already three million clean energy jobs. they are sadly for folks in west virginia and wyoming, places like that, for them they've lost a lot of coal mining jobs. they're down i think about 65,000. but folks who can be trained to mine coal can be trained to create windmills, windmills farms off of our coast. folks who have the skills to be able to mine coal have the ability to help create corridors of fueling stations or hydrogen or natural gas in corridors across our country to create charging stations for electric powered vehicles in heavily traveled corridors in our country. what we need to do, part of our policy, part of what we tried to do in this legislation is to make sure that we look out for those workers and help make sure they have a place to go and a way to suppor
