wildwood viewer zen this one from the north wildwood second. seeing minor street flooding there.rren, we had rain in some places and not in other. >> very little rain to the north and western suburbs that was a lot of rain very quickly. it wasn't just rain. that was an extremely intense thunderstorm that came through the area. that was right afternoon about one or 2:00 o'clock. things have calmed down since then a lot of these storms really flared up about 12 to 1:00 o'clock. they came in pretty early. that one storm through cape may county eventually moved through southern delaware come about 1.5 to 2-inches of rain across wildwood and cape may right at 1:30. look at the lightning here incredible amount of lightning strikes in the 30 period pier. close to 170. what fueled these storms was a very very cold air coming in on top of that warm muggy air at the surface. these weren't triggered by daytime heating that was cold air that came in and very intense thunderstorms when you get that type of setup. that lightning and rain went through cape may county just about an hour and dump
