take a look at prince william parkway. you can see there is a light coating here that the road is covered with snow. you don't see that dark pavement. but take a look because a couple of minutes ago, three large plows did come through here. their blades were down but those blades were not scraping the pavement. they were just above the surface. that's to leave a light coating so there's traction. so there's still this light coating but that doesn't mean that the plows haven't been through. they have. and they've been coming back and forth up-and-down the road. some have gotten into the side streets and neighborhoods to clear those roads as well. the good news there is not a lot of people out this morning. schools are cancelled today. that's giving the road crews the opportunity to get out and push the snow out of the way. it's going to take some time. reporting live this morning in wood bridge. >>> 5:18 now. here is a good reminder to watch where you put the ashes from your fireplace. that is what started this fire overnig
