karen, good morning. >> good morning, willie. you take a look at the market reaction to some of the disappointment about qe-3 the markets are up 2% to 3% at the start of the week. markets are getting ahead of themselves hoping for stimulus from the fed. ben bernanke didn't exactly say he's not going to stimulate again but he dampened some of the expectations around timing. if you look at the market reaction to this, because as some of the earlier commentary from the fed minutes this week suggested there might be more stimulus, there was strength in the u.s. dollar. this caused some selling across the commodities space. the likes of gold were sold down 1% in trade. silver down 2%. name next, in fact, one of the highest commodities today, taking it back to loets so far. in the u.s. market were patchy overnight. we saw the nasdaq and the s&p 500 weak and the dow higher. what's going to be interesting today is a report that's just come across the wires a short time ago suggesting spain may seek financial aid for its banking sector th
