we have an event at the park for the past 16 years where willie brown gave us his own day for us giving back to the community. also we've been waiting for the upgrades so we really, really appreciate it and the kids on may 3rd we had some of the kids labeled gang members putting the field down for their own community it makes a difference because the kids have kids and they actually talking about well, i, tell my son and daughter i helped to put this field in this is long lasting and kids will share with others they helped to build the community back. if we don't have the pathways people like my mom won't make it to the other side to see what she's been fighting for you have citizens who want to take walks so it's important for us to have the pathways coming from the public housing park so they can get to the swimming pool and not so far so we won't have to walk two blocks to get access to the pool. we really appreciate what's been going on we actually took the walk with mayor ed lee to show him and he made some moves with rec and park we appreciate all the moves that that's been moving
