it's 390 miles southeast of wilmington, north carolina.s you watch the path of danny, expect it -- you will note that it does curl to the north a little bit more and to the northeast before it makes landfall. maybe even north carolina will get spared, although there will be heavy downpours. you can see the influence close to us as we get to the midday saturday timeframe. again bringing a lot of moisture our way and ahead of it, too, overnight tonight as i was saying, you can expect the showers. as we look at the timeframe, 1:00 this afternoon, this is due to a frontal boundary to the north that is going to bring us showers to the north and west, that before the danny's influence. you see the huge yellow area that is going to move north and east, and that will be the remnants of danny that moves north and east out of our way. take a look at how much rain you can expect. not expecting as much because it stays offshore to the east. nonetheless, a half an inch to an inch of rain. you will be watching an inch and a 3rd for wome wilmington, dela

we had over an inch of rain reported at the inner harbour, and half an inch reported at wilmington. so a lot of rainfall in a short amount of time with the line of showers and storms that moved through our area. state temperatures right now in the mid 70s. 74 in baltimore. and 73 in dover. and 73 in hagerstown. and temperatures are going to drop only into the upper 60s. so it is going to be a little bit on the muggy and uncomfortable side, with the temperatures only dropping down to right around 67, to 68 degrees. on the future scan model. we have the cold front. that fired up all the showers and storms for today. and that's moving out to the atlantic ocean. weak high pressure is building in. so tomorrow, 9 a.m., waking up. a lot of sunshine. hazy sunshine for tomorrow. for the daytime for saturday. so most of the day, for tomorrow, we will be dry until 5:00. and then there is a secondary cold front. and that's the one that we are watching. because this could produce severe weather again for the afternoon hours on sunday. by 1:00, you could see a line of showers and storms could be

when joe biden underwent brain surgery for an aneurysm, the first to board the train to wilmington was it sure beats listening to said -- to ted kennedy in the senate floor. ted wrote a net 2 jesse sang, "i would be happy to send you notes of my recent speeches if that would help your speedy recovery."
