wimauma, 81. you can see frostproof, 81. 82 venice, sarasota winds continue consistently out of the east and this forecast, it is amazing to watch how little things have changed. high pressure to the north of us. gradient is a little stronger meaning stronger winds across the southern part of the state. that combined with a surface trough is leading to wetter conditions across the southern portion of the state. but wind gusts over 23 miles an hour around the winterhaven area. some of this upper level moisture streaming south to north. the hurricane center mentioned an area in the gulf of honduras they have it at 0%. look at the rain here. the keys especially. the surface trough, key largo all the way across sections of southwest florida. very consistent rain today. we just pretty much have clouds locally. rap model shows the clouds will be to the south. but it is still kind of in the sky here as we go through the the late evening hour. we will see quite a few clouds. rain chance is less than 10%.
