we're down to 34 degrees in hagerstown, 36 in winchester, 44 in the district, annapolis 46 degrees. we've got clear skies and dry air and we expect these temperatures to continue dropping with those suburbs going down to the 20s. what changed is the frontal boundary came through in the overnight hours and brought came showers. it's well to the south now. next up is the area of high pressure that will settle in on us during the overnight hours. in the meantime as we have the high pressure settling in, we will drop to 28 degrees at dulles and gaithersburg, 27 for frederick. you'll stay warmer along and east of 95 in the low 30s, culpeper coming in at 28 degrees. satellite conditions show the last of the lingering moisture well down in the carolinas. there is a small deck of high thin clouds coming through. i don't think they'll be around all night or thick enough to keep us warm. we expect those to continue moving on out. bottom line, a decemberlike day tomorrow, but it will feature a good amount of sunshine. we'll talk more about the conditions for tomorrow night when we light the na

28, baltimore 32, here in town holding at 38 degrees, manassas is freezing, culpeper freezing, winchester freezing, martinsburg below. once this precipitation overspreads the area, i think it's going to start as all snow, here's what we're talking about. we're already beginning to see the faintest of returns back out to the west just about to cross over into at least parts of extreme western virginia. most of west virginia is covered up with some sort of precipitation now. distinct rain/snow line, too and the snow is falling around towards indiana up towards ohio, but cold air is in place, so we will get a pretty rapid changeover to some light snow it looks like overnight tonight. listen, this is not a big storm. it does look like it's going to become a big storm after it passes us by. it looks like most of the areas will have snow before sunrise. i think some areas may have it as soon as 2:00 or 3:00 in the morning. been watching this closely all night checking the new information coming in. the trend would have to be now less snow for d.c., maybe a little more rain getting mixed into th
