windchills, single digits or teens with those strong winds literally howling at 40 miles per hour or stronger and the heaviest snow pretty much now until early to mid afternoon. that band of snow will actually shift itself off to the east and you can see that pocket. this is the pocket that computer models were picking on. it looks like it's racing through central virginia into the coast which means the coastal areas turn into snow. we're watching the cold air turn back in. we're watching rapidly deepening low pressure off of the del mar of the coast. this is what is pulling air in from all directions like a vacuum. this is what is going to increase the winds and turn everything back to snow. the thing is the computer models picked out this band of heavy snow to literally just sit right on top of central maryland for at least six hours. if that happens, we could be throwing some of these snow forecasts out of the window but basically we're looking for the temperatures going from near 30 or freezing now eastern shore into the 20s. there's temperatures of 16 in charleston and pittsburg
