you can winderize and prepare your power grid for events like this.te chose not to do it and it's costing lives. and i agree with beto in terms of that there has to be accountability for a state government that is leaving its people to their own devices, leaving them on their own basically that also left them to their own throughout this pandemic, lawrence, because our governor reopened this state with no plan before the guidelines said it was safe to do so. we were one of the state's hardest hit by covid in part because of that and now, of course, we're having this crisis. and, so, there needs to be a changing of the guard. there need to be folks put in place who will try and protect texans. and that's certainly what, you know, i'm trying to do for my position as a member of congress. >> there does seem to be a consistency in this, you know, just hands off approach of government that they have of, you know, don't worry about masks during covid and don't worry about winterizing anything in texas. we're far enough south, don't have to worry about that.
