it is pennsylvania and michigan and wisconsin. what are you seeing? >> the blue wall states, they are states trump won in 2016 and biden flipped in 2020 but the key here is that 44 electoral votes are up for grabs between the states. let's look at pennsylvania, 19 electoral votes, the most of any battleground state. polls open at 7:00 a.m. eastern along with most of the eastern time zones. as you see, almost 1.8 million absentee and mail-in votes have been returned so far and if you dig in, women outpaced men in the early vote by over 10%. but overall, we are only talking about 20% of total registered voters in this early vote. we have a lot of vote to look out for today. that said, let's look at some of the counties that we will keeping an eye on and especially critical when it comes to the margins. philadelphia county, but also the suburbs. montgomery, box, chester and delaware. they all went biden in 2020, same story when you head west to pittsburgh and allegheny county and the top left the northwest, there is erie which biden flipped in 2020 by le

both candidates held dueling rallies in battleground wisconsin. now, as we already know, polling is extremely tight in the election battlegrounds, including those crucial rust belt states of the democrats blue wall. new marist polling shows harris with slim leads in wisconsin, pennsylvania and michigan. but those figures are all within the margin of error. now, in those same states, marist finds trump pulling ahead with men while harris leads with women by even wider margins. some pollsters say the race now comes down to turnout i'm not looking as much at the polling anymore because that's determined. >> i don't believe there are any more undecideds. there are still non-committed. there are still persuadables. but if you're undecided, you reject both candidates. you don't like them. you're not going to be voting for them. to me, i'm trying to figure out what the turnout is going to be, and the group that i'm watching more than any other are young women. if they come out in significant numbers, if they make a bigger percentage of the overall voter

pennsylvania, michigan, and wisconsin, wisconsin was the closest in 2020 by far.s only 20,000 votes, 154,000 over in michigan for biden, about 84,000 votes in pennsylvania for biden. i think if you said coming into the night trump was going to have all the success he's had and then said where's he going to win the biggest in the northern tier, and yet this thing is going to end up very, very close in the presidential race. take a lot for harris to get over the top there, but likely or very well could be the closest of all the northern tier battleground states. and the question now becomes will it get so close with what comes in that the senate race maybe goes differently than a presidential race? trump leading by 110,000 in the presidential. take a look at the senate race right now. the republican his margepen is about half in the senate race, his margin over the incumbent tammy baldwin. all that we're talking about with the big batch of milwaukee votes how democrats need to win by 80,000, they're going to need that kind of margin to flip a 52,000-vote deficit in

host: the university of wisconsin said one in 10,000 undocumented workers are employed in wisconsin dairy farms. what do you think a mass deportation policy would have on that. guest: very familiar with that. there are a couple of steps that need to happen. number one, secure the border. let's make sure able-bodied americans are working. there are many able-bodied americans who are not working. let's make sure they are working. and then the third thing is have a legal immigration policy that benefits america. i am very familiar with it having grown up on a dairy farm in wisconsin. i talked to the farmers. if there is a need and we should help fill that void but let's do it legally. host: the hell is reporting this headline, conservatives -- the hill is reporting this headline that conservatives and the speaker. are you planning on doing this for the leadership? guest: we are going to the process that we go through and everything -- everyone from the newest member all the way up to leadership all know who is setting the agenda and it is president trump. i think everyone is going to be on b

so wisconsin always are often pretty close.ant to go back to 2020 and tell you about where vice president harris is going today. she's going to janesville, which is rock county. janesville is also the hometown of former house speaker paul ryan, who's been very critical of donald trump. maybe she will go there and quote paul ryan at her event she is also going to origami county. that is where appleton is. great minor league baseball park. there you can see this has been fairly red recently. donald trump won by ten points four years before that. he won by 13. so what harris wants to do is keep the margins closer here, a little bit closer like it was four years ago. finally, she's going to milwaukee democratic stronghold. the most populous county in the state. she wants to run up the margins here. now one thing i want to talk about in wisconsin, i'm going to use this tool for the first time. i hope it's more of a magic wall, not a mughal wall here. so i hope it works. i want to talk about how the vote is counted in should say wisc

i think that that bodes well for wisconsin.but we are taking nothing for granted. >> and you shouldn't the in a public statement released today, the u.s. intelligence community warned that russians were behind recent fake videos claiming to show voter fraud here in the united states. are you seeing disinformation swirling in your state of wisconsin, governor, and how our election workers prepare to handle that? >> yeah, well, the good thing about our election workers, they are local and they're they're our friends. and neighbors. they're just regular people doing a good job. and yes our voter, our voter workers, the people that are working in the polls are doing a great job. any time we hear of something that might be disconcerting and frankly, you know being being put to put together out of this country and making sure and making it more difficult for people to vote, we get out there and talk about that right away, providing that information to people. it is really important and people can check on that by going to my vote.com

he's above 50 in wisconsin. i won't go back and forth again through it but 2016, 2020, and there he is above 50% again. this state decided by 20,000 votes two elections in a row. donald trump is ahead by 125,000. this state won by joe biden last time by 154,000 votes. a big win for the democrats here. then the democratic governor wins in 2022. the democrats made gains in the legislature. the democrats think michigan is growing in their favor. donald trump is 243,000 votes ahead with 69% in. still some room to go. and anderson, i throw it back to you. the commonwealth of pennsylvania, so critical to trump cracking the blue wall, flipping the blue wall in 2016. his biggest disappointment when he lost it in 2020. still won't admit he lost it in 2020. now you see it in 2024. again, an 80,000 vote win last time. up by 191,000 votes in battleground pennsylvania. that's a blowout. >> yeah. it's amazing. you were pointing out in wayne county in detroit, 10 percentage points higher than in 2020. we're seeing in it county

wisconsin and told is a state that's up for grabs. and you can say they are tight all over battleground states. are you seeing any loosening, any ground swell evolving? anywhere? >> i would not call it ground swell but in georgia trump is leading in all the polls pulling out to 2.5 lead. north carolina leading average about a point in half. same in nevada. so it's all coming down to the blue wall in the upper midwest. pennsylvania, michigan and wisconsin which is why the campaigns are finishing there. kamala harris has a lead in wisconsin by 3 tenths of 1 person. her leading michigan is 8 tenths of 1% and trump has a lead in pennsylvania of 5 tenths of 1%. if kamala harris wins all 3 of those states she will be president, 270, 268. if trump wins any of the 3 he will be president so it's very close right now. and wisconsin is a place we've had the worst pulling over the last couple of cycles they've underestimated trump's vote by about 6 percentage points. so there's no telling whether the polls are accurate or they might be doing it a

wisconsin is one of three boom blue wall states. chemic harassments michigan, pennsylvania, that is the whole ballgame. tell me what is going on on the ground. the game has tightened a little bit. >> this is a tossup election. if you look at the polls, if you look at the models, on the ground, it feels like the wind is at the democrats' backs. the labor temple in wisconsin, not the bluest of blue areas in our state, yet, there were dozens of people here for 9:00 a.m. canvas kickoff with their local house candidate. what is happening over and over is that , people who are in some cases canvassing the first time are going out and finding people who have voted for trump in the past and are voting for harris now. thousands of volunteers will be on the ground throughout this weekend. we have not done nearly 1 million doors over the last two weeks in wisconsin and we will load the roof off our record in these final four days. we don't see an equivalent operation on the republican side. i just heard another story this morning, american pac
