we are going to have andrew wiseman joining us on this breaking news. he was already here, rachel, to talk about judge merchan denying donald trump's appeal, trying to block his sentencing date this week of friday. but now this is really in the last few minutes. i mean really, five minutes ago. there is apparently a filing in florida with donald trump's remaining codefendants in that florida case. they are also claiming that this report should not be released, it would be prejudicial to them. but there's an awful lot to get into here. as you know, releasing these reports in the past has been routine, but what's also so striking about this, rachel, is that it is signed by tom blanche and ml beauvais, whom donald trump has chosen to be, starting sometime after january 20th, the number two and number three at the justice department, that they are writing to. they're going to be in charge of this as of january 21st or thereafter. and so, the clock is ticking now on the garland justice department and the jack smith report, and whether we will see it at all.
