gus rosendale from our sister station wnbc-tv joins us from jfk international airport in new york this morning with more on that what must have been a very wild ride. gus? >> reporter: joe, good morning. can you imagine being on that plane which left jfk? passageors board say the pilot was running up and down the aisles yelling and screaming. at one point he turned to passengers and said, "say your prayers." some of those passengers recorded what happened and posted the video on youtube. this happened on a flight going from new york to vegas. the co-pilot noticed, sources say, the pilot behaving strangely. he was flipping switches, manipulating flight controls. so at one point, that co-pilot asked the pilot to take a bathroom break. he did. when he left the cockpit, the co-pilot secured the door. and that's when the really strange behavior started. that yelling, that screaming. the co-pilot got on the loud speaker, asked for help. and that's when passengers on board tackled him. >> i ran up, and we were face to face, me and the captain. wrestled a little bit. and i got him turned aroun
