((nia wong)) las vegas fire and rescue tell us when they got that call it was initally for multiple injuries but by the time they arrived here they found one construction worker dead at tivoli village. this is the queensridge expansion where there were multiple people working on this on scaffolding along the eastside of this grey buildingey. when it collapsed....other employees told las vegas fire and rescue....the dust was so thick they couldn't see anything but they knew something was wrong. tim szymanski with las vegas fire and rescue tells me two of the three men jumped to safety...escaping without injuries. the third one was the person they found dead under the scaffolding. outside this site....premier cm is listed as the construction project. under osha's website....it says premier cm is based in las vegas. they had an osha inspection back in march...but the case has since been closed. our calls were not returned this afternoon. tivoli management did release this statement
