good to have you with us i'm frank mallicoat. >> and i'm claudine wong.et you a quick look at your weather and rosemary, we have seen that fog before. it disappears fairly quickly throughout the morning. >> isn't it interesting once september rolls in, the fog rolls out. we get beautiful days. we have another nice one coming our way, guys. we have a bit of a cool down coming our way. i want to touch base on this fire that we are again tracking and watching for the folks to the north of us. we are looking at another warm day in this area. and the winds generally light out there this morning. it is a bit of a cool start in the upper 40s, low 50s. by the afternoon, low 90s. so another warm, dry day in this area. the winds are expected to pick up anywhere between 10-20 miles per hour. so it is expected to get a little gusty as well. depending on the shift of the wind, we may see a little bit of that smoke drift our way. outside of that, we are looking at a pretty fabulous forecast. at least when it comes to our temperatures. we'll drop those numbers a little

fortuatnly, no one was injured and no buildings burned but residents concernedmonday afternoon, ken wong walked into his back yard and saw a wall of flames less than 200 yards from his house. he and his family grabbed garden hoses and prepared to make a last stand.sotwe were watering with our house for what it was worth.fortunatly, fire crews from the san ramon valley fire protection district, stationed just a few blocks away, were able to move in and contain the fire quickly. cal fire also sent resources to help out. the blaze was eventually kept to just a few acres and no structures were damaged. ken says fire fighters moved fast. sotyeah, they were here with in about 5 minutes.this fire comes just a day after another grass fire broke out less than a mile away on the same hillside. that fire burned about 10 acres and 15 homes along pradera way were briefly evacuated. at this point, the exact causes of the two fires are still under investigation and it's unclear if they are connected or if this is just a coincidence. ken says a fire on this hillside wasn't entirely unexpected. the neigh
