who police say pointed them here to this apartment complex behind me in east palo alto at the woodland park of that complex. let me show you video of detectives that we shot earlier that are here on scene. they tell us they learned of this homicide sometime around 6:00 a.m. at this point, it's unclear how the woman was killed and how long she had been dead. they do tell us that the suspect they have in custody, that male suspect, pointed them to the apartment complex, and they are still waiting for the coroner to arrive. at this point, the forensic lab techs have arrived. they are processing the scene. we're also told that detectives are interviewing neighbors who are being cooperative. it's unclear how police were notified whether it was neighbors or by the suspect who called 911. within the last few minutes, it appears that family members may have arrived there. there are people here on scene that are hugging each other. there's some tears as well. so, still working to learn more about who this female victim is. we do know the homicide eye cured this morning. police found out about it at
