it has left traffic sluggish from the 85 interchange on 280 northbound heading up towards woodside and added about eight minutes to the drive time for the northbound right. the good news is all of the lanes have just been cleared. it is likely that we will see this back up and dissipate fairly soon. at the bay bridge we were calling this a hot spot but believe it or not conditions have improved quickly. no longer backed up into the macarthur maze but still a slow ride. it is still in 18 minute drive time from the macarthur maze. that is at the high end of normal. no longer backed up on the 580 flights over or around the berkeley curve. the san mateo bridge ride continues as it has all morning long, no backups, delays or surprises. drive times are under 40 minutes. you will have some pockets of slow traffic on 37 down to central san rafael. interstate 80 is still a pretty normal ride. remember we have problems on 24 westbound? most of that slow traffic is coming south on 680. westbound 24 looks much better. the westbound 580 ride has been without any unusual delay or slowdown. the fremo
