but we are seeing a lot of rain right on that peninsula too, right in here right near portola and woodsidenna open it up more and you could see that's the blob. we put it in motion and you'll see everything kind of going off towards the east now, so this thing is slowly wanted down, but it really has been pretty productive here in the last three or four hours of the afternoon or the day, so that's a kind of a pleasant surprise. he was really this thing was slated to be gone a few hours ago, but it's continuing to drop the measurable amounts of rain. i mean, some areas have already seen over an inch and a half of rain from the system. these types of systems typically quarter inch happy. it's just really doing well, but we're doing even better than that. why do these systems not get as much rain give as much rain is because i got chilly. it is right now. temperatures are cool, and the air mass doesn't hold ah lot of water when it's cold, warm air holds a lot of water. that's where the gulf and those areas have hurricanes. right a lot of moisture in the air. this is the forecast for tomorrow.
