we don't know what to expect from bob woodward's book, but the potentially differentiating factor would be that bob woodward is a veteran reporter who goes to great lengths to make sure he gets every detail right and that his published work is unimpeachable. that wasn't necessarily the case with michael wolff's book. there were a lot of questions about his sourcing technique, and the voracity of some of the anecdotes he portrayed in it. and you had the same thing already shaping up around amarosa's book. but the fact of the matter is, michael wolff's book sold like gang busters. amarosa is certainly getting a lot of attention. we'll see how she does sales wise. and that is because there is such a public thirst for any information about trump, particularly that which sort of buttresses what people already think they understand about him. so amarosa, there may be details in there that are new and revealing and can be corroborated. but they all sort of comport with the understanding that i think the public particularly trump's critics have of him. this idea to use to borrow from the title
