maureen: we have breaking news from rockville where a former wootton high school quarterback was just sentenced to four years in prison for a crash that killed two wootton graduates. 19-year-old samuel ellis pleaded guilty to two counts of vehicular manslaughter for the crash in north potomac river a year ago. alexander murk and i will li li -- and calvin li were killed in the car crash. he was sentenced to 20 years in prison with 16 years suspended. the teens had been drinking at underage party and jonathan elld higher blood alcohol limit. leon: in baltimore, the trial of the officer who is facing the most harsh charge in the freddie gray case began today. caesar goodson drove the van of which freddie gray suffered a spinal injury and he is charged with second-degree murder. prosecutors say that goodson took gray on what they call a "rough ride" and intentionally speeding through stop signs and rounding corners to cause gray to bounce around in the back of the van. the defense denies the claim to say that the officer did nothing wrong. >> covers metro tonight. the agency safetrack pl
