in worcester with the international assessment.the first international assessment was given in the mid '60s and america came in last out of 12. everything is not great today. our biggest problem is the fact that more than 20% of her kids live in poverty and that's where the lowest academic performance is. and charters should be helping with it. [talking over each other] just as soon as we leave here, it will take you 10 minutes by cab, actually school is not open because it's august, wait until the the end of august when the open or wait until september so the other side of them is open to go to 118th street, and you go looking on the classroom of the teacher of the public schools that i recount in the book is sitting, leaning back, feet on the desk, yelling at these kids in the public school. how many days in a week? and then walk 20 feet to the other side of that building where there's a heart of success school and look in on that classroom, and when you compare those two snapshots, that's what i'm talking about in this book. and
