conservation. so we decided to dive into that world by purchasing a small property and documenting both what you can do on a property like that to improve it for wildlife of all sorts while also trying to balance it out that out with recreational use like hunting. one of the challenges of balancing that kind of thing is trying to do all sorts of activities. so one of the things we often joke about is try to create deer hunting property and other people who want to shoot squirrels. we do squirrel hunt. we have an episode of it on the show this year. we ended up not seeing a single gray fox squirrel on the property. so got an e-mail the other day specifically saying, mark what about planting a cornfield just for the schools next year. can we do that. so the squirrel hunt didn't go very well but we did go to public land and had success there. [laughter]. >> what is your favorite land that you've gone too. what is your favorite experience. mark: i will .22. one is simply from metastatic part of alaska. it's really hard to say anything about alaska because it's on a different scale than anything in the united states states. i was really fortunate to share a
