let's get over to wren clair with a peek of the forecast. >> wren: most of that has stayed further to our west, berkshires seeing the bulk of that, but low pressure continues to deliver snow flurries this morning. you might have to scrape off you car very briefly, but most of this will melt before a lot of us get out and about. right now light snow. most of us again just flurries, bringing a dusting to us. in terms of snow reports, that is largely stayed furthered to our west, the berkshires up to around an inch or two of snow inch terms of that sticking around, well, it could a little bit into today. it's going to be a cold derek but we'll warm up back the more seasonable temperatures later in with those flurries and more noticeably these winds. we have very strong winds in association with that low pressure to our north, and you can see, we're talking about wind gusts up to around 50mph today. a wind advisory now extended until 10:00 p.m. tonight. so this is in effect all day long. it's going to be windy all day long, even into tonight. now we're seeing some wind gusts around 32mph

wren clair is here. >> wren: not a bad forecast. not a bad weekend forecast. our main concerns are going to be some breezy conditions and some falling temperatures for us. we do have a wind advisory in effect throughout the cape. that starts this afternoon and wraps up late tonight. but all of us will be looking at pretty breezy conditions. currently winds predominantly out of the west. these winds are going to shift out of the northwest as the cold front pushes through new england, and that's what's going to usher in that cooler air as well as those very breezy conditions. we're going the they this afternoon, into tonight and tomorrow, so pretty breezy by sunday, as well. this front currently sitting to our northwest is going to push further to our southeast. and so those of us in northwestern massachusetts and southern new hampshire are going to see that cooler air a little bit earlier to our southeast, the cape seeing those temperatures fall later into the afternoon. but i think even by the late-morning hours, some of us can see temperatures falling. temper

. >> sarah: wren clair is tracking it all. >> reporter: we are seeing some fog still. it isn't letting up. here is the culprit. you can see some winds up to around eight miles per hour in you can see further inland, worcester county, by and large, seeing calm winds. take a look at what we are seeing. when it comes to fog. where those winds are calm, that is where we are seeing that fog as well. worcester, currently dealing with visibility, down to under a quarter of a mile. not just fog. dense fog as well. if you are traveling out that way or you are headed west from the city, count on see thing some of. this count on the slower commute. especially when you factor in the showers as well. we definitely have reduced visibility on the roads. not nearly as dense, though, as what we have to our west. that... we are looking at some showers. we will keep that snow to our north. northern new england, seeing that snow. we will keep seeing showers, these bands of rain pushing further to our northeast. i'll let you know how much rain we can expect through the weekend coming up. >
