so i had to go back and reregister in wyoming as a wyoming resident. it's a good thing we did because if i had stayed in texas, we would not have been able to count the texas electoral vote towards my election as vice president. and we would have had a bush-lieberman administration. but joe's not a bad guy but you wouldn't want him for your vice president. but the second request then was whether or not -- then the governor called me and asked if i would help him find somebody, run the search. and i said, sure, i can do that. that's a temporary assignment. we can get it done in a couple of months here. then i can go back to doing what i want to do which is run the company. so we went through that whole process and we ended up on -- right after 4th of july, just a couple weeks before the convention, and i went down to the ranch outside crawford, this is before they had the new house built. they had a little bitty frame house that he and laura were living in out at the ranch. and we sat down and spent the morning reviewing all the candidates and then had

i have to tell you, we saw a lot of that in wyoming, st. louis, ohio on our trip out here.re in one of the biggest storms in decades. you will never forget that trip, i'm sure, frank! glad to have you aboard here. if you are headed out this morning, you're running into cool temperatures maybe some patchy frost, looking good though. check out the skies nice and clear right now no fog to speak of either. and not as much winds. so maybe a gentle sea breeze in the afternoon but overall less wind and temperatures warming up nicely around the bay area. a little cool in spots, though, 30s and 40s early on. clear to the interior valleys and back to the coast. toward the afternoon, here comes that sunshine again. and yeah, these numbers are going to be fairly similar to yesterday but without the wind going to feel more comfortable outside. mid-60s in some of the warmer spots around the bay area. high pressure still in control here. looks like it's going to hold on for at least a couple more days. then toward the weekend, this thing will start to weaken somewhat and the jet stream wi
