joining us now correspondent for yahoo news michael weiss. great to see you this morning. i know you like me, like everyone is trying to sort out what just happened at the kremlin. give us the latest here. we know what the kremlin is claiming. what are scenarios you're exploring? >> well, one of the theories is that this is a false flag attack. russia is sort of a pass master at staging some kind of provocation like this including, by the way, they cast a spell for invading ukraine by firing artillery and claiming it was the ukrainian government that was doing it, and that was going to furnish the excuse for the so-called special military operation. the problem a lot of people have with the false claim allegation here, jonathan, is, well, there are several reasons. the russians don't need an incentive to escalate against ukraine. they're already in a state of war against ukraine. they also don't need an incentive to target the ukrainian political leadership. they've tried to assassinate president zelenskyy at least a half dozen times and they failed. by the way, when this
