yang: let me say this.very country has its own challenges and the problems, and every country should do a better job of their own economy. betty: they should mind their own business, right? mr. yang: i do not mean that. what i mean is that the chinese economy is a quite big one, but it is not that big. there are many players in the field. so their economic performance fundamentally has an impact on the behavior of the financial market and so and so forth. and the difference between the chinese stock exchange and the stock exchange of many western countries is there are far more institutional investors in the west. and, of course, there is always room for improvement for anybody, so i do hope that people will take an appropriate and calibrated approach to what happens in the financial markets, wherever it might be. in china or in other countries, so people should be respectful to facts and to be fair. and china is a positive force for world economic growth and will continue to be. betty: our bloomberg growth

eyewitness news reporter lucy yang is in with details. >> students coming back to rutgers university after thanksgiving break should brace themselves for a big shakeup in the sports department. as you said, the football coach is now gone. it's history for kyle flood who was fired this afternoon. the football team had a disastrous season, bad football combined with bad behavior off the field meant coach flood was shown the exit door today. you may remember he was suspended for three games and fined $50,000 this season after he reportedly contact adprofessor about one of his player's grades which is not allowed. they were eventually kicked off the team for being arrested for armed robbery, burglary. university president issued this statement on the firing of coach flood, quote, our continued struggles on the field combined with several off-the-field issues have convinced me we need new leadership of our football program. now the review act fell on julie hermann. she was brought in two and a half years ago to clean up department. the scandals didn't end under her leadership. one report
