this is given by the executive director of the health service system abbie yant. >> good afternoon. the highlights from the director's report. we have completed our election. we had five candidates, three dropped out, two remained. that allows us to seat those two candidates, one of which is our president and the other is mr. chris canning, who is a lieu department in the active duty police department. he will be able to sit with the board at the june meeting. we also have news that we -- the mayor's office appointed their member, marry howe -- mary howe. many understand her work in human resources. she is employed in in marincou. she is a resident in san francisco. we are not sure if she will be here for the may meeting but defendant for june. we will have a complete board in june, which is great. i did want to just highlight we have been following some of the taxes at the federal and state level. at the federal level, the ex ice tax. there -- exise tax it will be applied for the 2020 year. the managed care tax in california is also in play, and that may very well apply next year.

their seats this inauguration ceremony started very conventional with the pomp and ceremony of state yant them being sung the great seal of the nation being handed over to him so far so traditional words about national unity and then within a few minutes of the end of the whole event he told all the ukraine's politicians who were sitting in front of him that he would indeed be dissolving parliament not only that but he was giving them the 2 months before those elections are expected to happen to pass a law to strip themselves of immunity from prosecution not only that he fired several of ukraine's top officials the head of security services they too sitting just a few meters away from him lots of bemused expressions there the camera zooming in on the people who had just lost their jobs live on t.v. so that definitely was a pretty dramatic climax this event he didn't give a reason in the speech for why he used his open palm up but it is clear he will need a majority policy card has no political force no policy behind him he's going to set one up to be able to translate on his very ambitiou

i have spoken with the director yant. i am going to speak on the drug prescription coverage. >> speak into the microphone. >> i will share personal and private information that is a bit uncomfortable. i know i am not the only member that is experiencing this. i have prescribed a litany of drugs that aren't covered under a co-payment. if i go to a specialty pharmacy the cost is 50% of the negotiated rate. i have copies of this if you need it. that was the price that i was quoted. then i was given the price if i pay 100% out of pocket. 100% out of pocket is 40% less or 40% less than if i used my insurance which is supposed to be 50%. the 50% of the covered rate. my personal question. can i get reimbursed the 50% that is the coverage rate? the real question for you is how many other drugs fall into this category? how many other members are paying 100% out of pocket because the insurance coverage they pay for, that the city pays for would cost them more. i recognize there is no vote today but i wanted to highlight the great r
