yesenia ramirez has already plead no contest to the charges. they include planning and participate manage the kidnapping of 3-month-old brandon cuellar. you may remember, baby brandon was found by police 20 hours after he was taken. ramirez faces up to 14 years in prison for her role in the crimes, but today her attorney urged the court to consider sentencing her to virtually no prison time at all. in a 200-page filing, the lawyer outlines a history of abuse that he says makes his client more of a victim than a predator. >> california legislature has recognized that people commit crimes oftentimes because they themselves have been victims of crimes. it's a really vicious cycle that is the reality of our criminal justice system, that the prey often become predators. >> nbc's robert handa pored through 200 pages of the documents today. what stands out to you? what else does it reveal, robert? >> well, you know, he kind of summed it up best in terms of trying to make the argument for leniency. and of course you have to make a pretty strong case wh
