joining me republican congressman from kansas kevin yoder.essman, i understand both political parties are in heated pitched battles, but i would thought there would be a time out on that sort of a statement. i was shocked it came out yesterday at 4:00 in the midst of all the bombs being discovered. what are your thoughts on all of this? >> well i think it is disappointing. i think this is a time for our nation to come together. we ought to be opposed to any acts of terror, whether domestic, foreign, these acts, sending these packages and bombs to elected officials and news agencies are despicable. we all ought to be speaking out against them together. these acts could occur against republican officials or democratic officials. doesn't have to take much thinking back to last summer, a year ago summer when many of my colleagues who were all republicans were shot at on a baseball field by a rabid bernie sanders supporter, huge democrat. we did everything we can to at that moment to bring us together. charles: i'm sorry we have to interrupt you.
