king and coretta scott king's granddaughter, 13-year-old granddaughter, yolanda renee king. she's an activist for voting rights and justice. the director of youth engagement at the drum major institute and on tuesday she will follow in her grandfather's footsteps by speaking at the national cathedral. yolanda? >> thank you. to all of those who are here to honor my grandfather's 93rd year, the only way we know how through action. i am the proud granddaughter of dr. martin luther king, jr. and coretta scott king. i am also the proud daughter of martin luther king iii and andrea waters king. although i never got to meet my grandfather, his lessons and drive for justice are in me. stories about my grandfather's leadership were passed down to me at the dinner table, told to me at bedtime, and shared doing long road trips. but most importantly, his lessons are passed down to me and young people across the country during moments in history like this one that call for all of us to work together and take action to correct injustice and advance equality. one important lesson i learned
