area of red here including you can see areas of southern new york into northern new jersey including yonkers there's 11 million people under this warning. another one is added to the east, another 3 million in long island. this is a big concern. when you look at the radar, the problem is with all this rain on the western flank, and all the energy spinning around, counterclockwise, it's pulling the bands down of moderate and even somewhat heavy rainfall to an area to the south. but look closely. this started last night when the concert was going on. it looked like the rain was going to end in 20 minutes. it kept back building. now we have a defined line from allentown taover toward middletown. mid levels of the atmosphere in delmarva, winds from the south, stunting the movement. it's also enhancing lift in the atmosphere. this is going to be a concern for the rest of the day and through the night. yes, we have seen six, seven, eight, nine inches of rainfall. we're expecting by the time this is over with to see 10, 11, 12, we could see 15 or 16-inch totals. urban flooding is a big concern for
