christie smith is live at yorba buena island with an update. good morning. >> reporter: good morning. in the last minute or so spokesperson for the u.s. coast guard arrived here at yorba buena island, she's trying to give a press conference and update us on the search for this missing 62-year-old wind surfer. we know her name is kathy katan out of los altos. she is experienced. here with us this morning is heather and good morning. can you tell us what's new this morning? what are you going to do? >> there's nothing too new that we haven't discussed last night. as we stated last evening, around 7:20 we got a call, the coast guard, that kathy was missing. she is a 62-year-old woman out of los altos. she was told her husband around 5:00 she was going to go wind surfing for 30 minutes. he reported her missing, overdue, around 6:30. and then notified the coast guard. we've had been on scene. we searched 82 square miles in the vicinity of foster city up to san mateo bridge. we are continuing our search this morning at first light. alameda county has
