this is as we approach the 12:45 time stamp here in new york city. it is the second location that we've got our eyes on. it is this -- what appears to be a pressure cooker we're watching very closely. it's put into a containment device by city officials, atf or nypd's bomb squad. and they will then move it potentially to another location. we're watching that. we're also getting in just within the last 20 minutes new video that appears to be of the effects around the first explosion which happened at 8:30, which happened four hours ago. and this is from outside in the streets. and the effect. then there was also video that shows what happens inside this very same location from orange theory fitness in the location and their surveillance video. this is the inside video. you can see that tempered glass breaking. not falling but completely broken because of the bomb blast. that is what we're also watching at 12:45 local time. in terms of what this means of that explosion. and then we have the news briefing about an hour ago that came from city officials.

let's start in new york city where bryan has the very latest. hi, bryan. >> reporter: good afternoon, that is a big, big development you just reported, our rick leventhal hearing that the devices that went off in seaedside part yesterday morning is connected to the explosive devices put here, the one that went off last night on 23rd between 6th and 7th and the device that was found four blocks north on 27th between 6th and 7th. what we have to understand, we know they are looking at one of the devices that the suspicious device that found, that pressure cooker device at the artillery range, they are looking into that. to what extent are all three devices alike? were they all three pressure cooker type devices? we don't know. we were initially told the initial device in seaside park was a pipe bomb and also by the ocean county prosecutor's office that that device was connected to two other devices in the garbage can that could have gone off and made the blast larger than it was. we're talking about two active crime scenes here in manhattan and ch
