new york city. here. we've seen lots of tourists out here enjoying the snow through the day, but this is one of the biggest or the biggest snow storm in new york this winter. and parts of new york state, expecting an upwards of 30 centimeters of snow crews have been out pretty much since midnight. clearing the roads, as you can see down that in that direction. and but this is a major, major storm. and one of the biggest that we've seen and the situation here is that the subway system is still running. many of the bus lines and commuter rail lines have been shut down. the ferry that takes people across the hudson river that has been shut down as well. so far the city is holding up pretty well. there's no major catastrophes if you will here. but this is certainly a major storm and effect. people are still getting out and not heating the mayor's advice. in fact, over there, you can probably see a line of tourists, their wraps around about half the block there. and they're waiting to get tickets to some of the local theater shows that are happening. some are closed down, but some still are happening with this is a storm that is not just here in new york. it's affecting more than 70
