on 28 north to 66, the crash was here at yorkshire lane. only the right side of the road was able to get right. 66 is experiencing delays out of manassas. delays due to a train malfunction outside shady grove. autria, over to you. autria: a metro worker fell more than 30 feet. larry: montgomery county fire crews scrambling to save him. sam sweeney is at the bethesda station where this happened. sam: guys, good morning. all of this unfolded around 1:30 this morning at the bethesda metro station. a metro employee was under this great right here, and then he walked over to this section and fell 35 feet. this was a technical rescue inside a confined space. it took more than 45 minutes to get him out once rescuers arrived. he was in the hole for one hour and 45 minutes, but his injuries were so severe that he was not able to pull himself back out. we have learned that he is suffering several broken bones, possibly a broken back and a broken leg. he was in a great deal of pain when rescuers were down there. there was also the concern of hypotherm
