our north, red flag warning until 11:00 tomorrow morning, the central valley from redding down to yosemite is until 5:00, that's 2.4 million people. then you get into our neighborhoods and it's mainly above 1,000 feet for the east bay hills, diablo range and north bay mountains. solano county and up around lake county it is all the way down to the valley floor and that fire danger goes until 5:00 tomorrow afternoon. that's due to a northerly wind that could gust up to 25 miles per hour, but everything is so dry out there right now that even if the winds are around 10 to 25 like they are right now anything that does develop will spread rapidly because everything is so dry. we've got some heat in the forecast coming also, we will talk about that. back to jessica for more news. >>> the bay area man accused of being the norcal rapist is set to appear in court in sacramento today. police arrested 58-year-old roy waller of benicia thursday when he arrived for work at uc berkeley. investigators say dna samples plus evidence from several crime scenes led them to him. waller is charged in sacrament

a lot of them are foreigners and they come here with the main goal of seeing yosemite, yellowstone, possibly death valley. they might see san francisco or las vegas along the way. they go home loving the parks and saying how great it is, even if someone has a great about america politically, they can go home telling people how great and this was the american idea. but otherwise it's the idea the land belongs to all of us. the whole rim of the canyon could be a series of gated communities with security guards and guns to keep everyone away. this is a democratic idea we can all be proud of, even though today the country is very divided. we should all take pride in this, we have done a good job with our national parks. if there is one message i would like viewers to leave with, it is the idea that this land belongs to you and me. it is our birthright and are -- at this point and we should not look at it through books, we should go out and visit it ourselves and having experiences . exploregreat place to and everyone should try to plan a trip. at some time in their life. it's never too late. rec
