yosemite. it is a beautiful sight, but only if you can get inside the park. rs say it's been so crowded that sometimes it's taking up to four hours just to reach the entrance. yeah, we know this. summer is traditionally busy at yosemite, but this is the first year since the pandemic that you don't need a reservation to get in. and the crowds are epic. these photos posted by park staff show the lines for the park's buses and the cars park pretty much anywhere you can find a spot. joining us now, steve lyon, a ranger at yosemite national park. steve, nice to have you on the program. this is kind of crazy. a four-hour wait. would you consider bringing back the reservation system? >> we're in discussions to do that, but we don't know about that just yet. people can look up on the yosemite website information about traffic and parking issues there, and we're working on fixes for it. >> steve, in the interim, is there any sort of crowd control you guys are implementing in the next few weeks or traffic flow? >> we are. we have a text message system so that people can
