i represent the district in youngstown and akron. in youngstown we had two health care systems.proximately 4,000 people in the region. it is now trying to emerge from bankrupt bankruptcy. youngstown has about aç 15% or 16% unemployment rate. warren has one similar in adding 30 million new people to the system and many in ohio and westernç pennsylvania i don't think now is a good time to see a hospital close down. i was wondering if there is anything in your sights or from the administration that could address this issue. >> my understanding is we solved one of the problems in terms of a paymentç stream that will continue during the discussion, which i think is important. again, i think thatç the framework of having a payment system under the individuals who will seek hospital care in the future is a big step forward. i also think there were huge improvements made in the bill over the course of the discussion dealing with d disproportionate share allocation where originally there was a thought that it could disappear entirely and i think that was recommunicated appropriately

that's why homeowners in youngstown, ohio, lost their homes. that's why retirees in sydney, ohio, lost a lot of their wealth. that's why workers in newark, ohio, lost their jobs -- because we -- because we had a banking system that was overreesmg, that was excessive, that got too greedy and we didn't do enough about it. and here's what's happening. these manufacturers i talked to this morning -- early this afternoon from ohio that are looking to try to -- they want to grow, they want to hire people, they've got orders, capacity, they just can't get loans to do this. three of the largest banks slashed their s.b.a. lending by 86% over the last year. s.b.a. loans went from 4,2 in 2007 in ohio alone to 2,100. at the same time, banks have increased their wall street trading by 23%. something was wrong in the last ten years. we paid the price the last two years but something's still wrong when the banks get bigger and bigger, they trade more and more and they lend to main street less and less. that's why the legislation i'm turning to senator kaufman

you really to go back towards pittsburgh and cleveland, youngstown, ohio, to get to moderate to heavypeters out over the appalachians. if you live on the i-95 corridor, you'll see the clouds increase and you'll see it try to rain. at times it will have some success in terms of a light shower. but the real strong system is back out towards the west, idaho falls back through salt lake city. huge trough for this time of year spinning wheels out here, lower elevation rain and higher elevation snows. and also quite a bit of wind. winds gusting over 60 in utah and this strong southerly flow will continue that trend today. windy conditions across the front range. winds whip there up through parts of -- east of the tetons. there will be delays in d.c., detroit and cleveland. light rain. again, more so towards the west. and wind in ft. lauderdale. today it will be more in the way of wind. 80 in atlanta. high pollen counts across the southeast. 58 degrees, not quite as pretty as yesterday in new york city. but not all that bad for the most part. john? back to you. >> sounds good. thank you so m
