one burned about 15 acres in yountville in napa county. two others reported in the knight's valley area west of calistoga. we have team coverage of the high fire danger this morning. anne makovec is in napa. cate caugiran is in martinez. lawrence karnow has more from the weather center. >> windy conditions making for high fire danger outside. we have more of a northerly component to the winds. that's that offshore wind and it's been whipping around the bay area. even this morning, we are seeing some gusts over 20 miles per hour in spots up in towards santa rosa and the wind advisory going to keep things a little brisk and looks like it is going to be blowing pretty good as we head throughout the good part of the morning. then things look to be settling down. now, the red flag warnings going to continue into the evening hours. in the north and the east bay hills, up into the diablo range, we are looking at humidities less than 30% and you get those winds going and, of course, we haven't had much rain in the second half of the year so very d

i'm in yountville which is in napa county. let me break it down. we have four fires burning technically but we are going to combine them into two separate fires right now. that's what cal fire is doing. the yellow fire and the silverado fire. you're looking at the silverado fire right there that is near yountville about two miles from where i'm standing right now. silverado trail. 50 acres burning, 40% contained. they had bulldozers creating breaks around that fire all night and engines standing by. a barn burned. the damage there is estimated at about 200 thousand dollars and they are expecting full contain -- $200,000 and they are expecting full containment by 8 a.m. now to the three fires combined now at highway 128 and yellowjacket ranch road burning near knight's valley, calistoga and geyserville nearby. that's 200 acres. no structures are threatened right now. they think that that was probably caused by some power lines that fell down in that area. so there have been some intermittent closures to highway 128. basically, they have several reso
