it's a similar story with the cell moving into yountville.pretty much near mill valley and vallejo for areas to the south and east. this morning it is a quiet start, but it's the north bay. we focus our attention today because this atmospheric river is basically stalled and there's a lot more moisture off the coast that's moving into the north bay throughout the afternoon and into the evening. it's a level two today for that heavy rain in the north bay outside of the north bay, the showers are a lot lighter and the impacts are minimal, but that heavy rain created a flood watch in the north bay this morning. we have some gusty winds and some rough surf, so here's future weather just watch how that heavy rain stays in the north bay all day long. a couple of light isolated showers are very possible around lunchtime outside of the north bay, but that heavy rain continues into the afternoon and into the evening. daytime highs will be in the mid 50s to the mid 60s. we'll talk about the flood watches and the wind advisories coming up in eight minute

santa rosa 8.89 yountville 6.78, san rafael over five and a half sonoma just over five inches. so with this number here in santa rosa and really for a lot of the bay area on these high totals, we've now seen four months worth of rain in just two days. many cities average only two inches for the entire month. so here's what we're looking at the system right now. meeting up with that atmospheric river that's just kind of hanging out, that moves through tomorrow. we'll see a second one back behind it for sunday and early monday. it doesn't look nearly as strong, so i'm not really concerned about that. but let's go ahead and take it into what we're seeing with that right now. and you can see on storm ranger doppler radar, we do have that rain up into marin, napa, sonoma counties, little to nothing here, san francisco to the south bay, but where we still think we could get in on a break would come as we head through later tonight, maybe around 910 and 11:00, we'd actually be looking at some dry conditions for the north bay, as this system just lifts off to the north for a little bit
