so as we're seeing the rain rates really increase here from glen ellen to yountville, we will be looking at this to sink and to lighten up, but still downpours in the forecast for the morning commute in the city and in oakland. bodega bay, heavy rain, lighter rain in marin county here san rafael 580, the richmond san rafael bridge, some mist, some drizzle and some very light rain. but for those of you in fremont and san jose and palo alto, nothing going on. you will get some rain and look at the totals anywhere from a 10th of an inch or less in the south bay to over an inch in the north bay. we've got breezy winds, lingering chances in the afternoon, but overall this is just a morning event, enough to mess up that morning commute. 46 in sonoma. so you should give yourself some extra time because between about eight and 9:00 it's going to be pretty wet from oakland to concord and san francisco, quarter mile visibility in livermore. and this is the timing of it. so 7:00 it's slipping to the south. and look what happens by the time we get to 8:00. it's taking its time. but we do have the pr

look, we can see the rain is coming down from bodega bay to santa rosa and extending over toward yountville and farther to the north, as well as down to petaluma and now approaching novato. this is a part of the next storm system that will be in and out of here quickly. that's the good thing, is that we're not expxpecting ts to have a major impact. opening up the picture, we can see there's still several more storms developing out in the pacific, but a lot of them will take a more northerly turn and avoid the bay area after today. so we are going to see this wave of rain coming through over the next couple of hours. by 9 to 10:00, it is still raining across much of the north bay and into the south bay, but by 430 during that evening commute, we're expecting things to clear out. so we will have several more hours of this rain, more wet weather coming in. to start out the week, we'll be tracking what to expect for the rest of the week coming up. but mike, you've been seeing some police activity. yeah, that's the one blip on the radar right now. we do expect things to lighten up after the last

rainfall at this time and through knoxville and through spanish flat, trying to make tracks towards yountvillenly place i've noticed it isn't raining happens to be around the altamont pass into tracy, otherwise along the sea shore. now we do have some rain showers. also around the bay around the hercules area. there you have half moon bay into san gregorio, so the rainfall totals have been stacking up very quickly, anywhere from a quarter of an inch of rain in throughout the santa clara valley to over a half an inch of rain in throughout the north bay. temperatures are in the 50s. the winds are up to 30 as far as your gusts are concerned. from oakland international airport all the way across the bay. now they're subsiding at sfo. calm conditions with the passage of this front and half moon bay, but these winds will continue to pick up occasionally. we do have san jose with the wind gusts at mineta international at 20ft. now, we continue to monitor the boys 12 to 15ft at this particular time. but this is a lot closer to the sea shore, out over the open waters, 40 to 60ft swells. yeah. it looks
