. >> i zac is moving at a snail's pace. what i can tell you when it comes to new orleans, the one bit of good nervous fgs is it takes a northwesterly turn at this point. right now i'll show you the latest whether it comes to hurricane isaac. still a hurricane, you can see the strongest winds are at 830 miles per hour. very, very damaging winds associated with this storm. a category 1 storm. i want to focus on the eye, but as long as it's still over the water, parts of the water get that fuel. as soon as isaac starts to push all the way over land, it will start to lose energy and hopefully weaken back to tropical storm status. right now that doesn't look like it's the case for at least six to eight hours. you're talking about six to eight hours of 70 to 80-mile-per-hour sustained winds, gusts to 105 miles per hour. we could see some major damage when it comes to widespread power outages. it could be weeks before the power gets back on in the northern plains states. this is what we're looking at. isaac is still going to moouv
