zach fuentes, abc seven news. >> well, more insight on that expected later this month. for now at least, these series of back to back storms will certainly help. do you expect it to have an impact? >> yes. not this first one because it's too warm. we're in the upper 30s right now, but as we get into late monday and tuesday, we're talking about 4 to 6ft of new snow that will really make an impact. and that's exactly what we need that will get us back on track. but we are still looking at today's system that is pretty warm, and that's going to allow for some good news where since we are so dry that the ground will absorb it, the soils will absorb this and we're not expecting much in the way of flooding, maybe some nuisance flooding later on today up in the north bay where the rain continues to fall. but look at the fetch of moisture all the way to the hawaiian islands, where they had some flooding in maui. and as we get in closer, you can see right now all the activity here. very light rain. little heavier there. just west of nevada. west of highway one. hercules and mart

zach fuentes, abc seven news. >> so we'll have more insight on that expected later this month.for now, the series of back to back storms will certainly help. at least you expect it to have an impact. >> yeah, not the one this weekend because it's too warm. we're looking at temperatures in the 30s, so it's going to be a lot of rain. but when we get into monday and tuesday. yes, into the middle of the week looking at four to maybe six feet of snow. and beyond that we could see some snowy peaks around here into thursday and friday, when we still get into the rain and the cold air has been with us. it's not going anywhere once it returns late monday into tuesday. so a lot of wild weather coming our way that, for the most part, is going to bring beneficial rain for this weekend. the activity, though, is certainly going to be in the north bay, and by monday perhaps we could see some flooding of the creeks and streams there. there's a look at where it's all coming from, and then we'll be looking at another system getting going for monday and tuesday. here's a look at live doppler seve
